Deliver Black Dreams CBUS presents “We The Creatives” a half-day virtual un-summit brought to you by a coalition consisting of Maroon Arts Group, Artfluential, Culture Dream Lab, and Creative Control Fest.
We The Creatives is a virtual half-day learning community that includes workshops, lectures, art making, and performances engaging the role of art, design, cultural strategy, and cultural production in activism and movement. This space is where creatives come together to learn and practice collective visioning to create a new world.
It will culminate in a lecture, masterclass, and discussion with world-renowned revolutionary artist Emory Douglas, former Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party. Douglas will share a historical retrospective of his artwork created as a member of the Black Panther Party and his continuing socially conscious work.
